Easter sweater 7

Seven years, and we’ve gone from one skein of yarn to 3+ at this point! Sureya drew up a mismatched striped cardigan, and chose her yarn colors from Fancy Image online (the generous Myra threw in an extra skein so I could play with complementary colors), and I set about getting it done in time.

in my last post I said I was making the Malabrigo into a gift for mom-that was an overly ambitious undertaking! Her birthday was February 6th, so my plan did not work out. I did, however, make myself a fantastic hat-and then made a smaller one with Fancy Image yarn for Sureya. The pattern is Langfield by Martina Behm, colors are Malabrigo Anniversario, and Fancy Image DK Fun pack.

I’m knitting, I promise! Problem is, as soon as I finish projects, I just gift then away immediately and forget to take pictures. Next up will be Sureyas Easter sweater #7-and she is leaning towards a cardigan again. I’m putting a reminder on my calendar now to get back to posting, there are quite a few knit beauties out there to share that I can track down... hopefully soon. In any case, happy January, I’m off to start moms birthday present with this lovely Malabrigo Arroyo
